Samsung Confirms Galaxy S8 As Biggest Change Leaks

Recent leaks suggested this will be  a design to die for , and now have both our best look yet at the Galaxy S8 and Samsung’s official confirmation. So let’s break them down… First up Samsung has inadvertently confirmed the existence of the new phone and its ‘Galaxy S8’ name  applying  to the United States Patent and Trademark Office to register the new device. New Galaxy S8 Rumors Promise Innovative Technology

Over the weekend Samsung made sure that next year’s flagship smartphone – the Samsung Galaxy S8 – remained in the minds of the geekerati.  Although not revealing any specific details , Samsung Vice Chairman Lee Jae-Yong labeled the upcoming S8 as having a “slick design” and an “improved camera.” The slick design will be part of the subtle reshaping of Samsung’s existing design. The curved edges of the Galaxy S8 are expected to reach not just to the left and right of the screen but also to the top and bottom of the screen. That will allow an edge-to-edge OLED display under the glass. Samsung is also expected to drop the physical home key from the design  and move to one based in software. That’s been seen on many Android devices, but Samsung will be including a fingerprint reader under the OLED screen. That pretty much covers the slick design.
