As Black Friday looms on the horizon, and the professional bargain hunters sharpen their elbows and practice their aisle sprints, why not beat the madness by checking out some of these deals? I’ve scoured the internet, spoken to retailers and collated a list of the best – in my opinion – Black Friday smartphone deals available today.
Remember, do be careful out there, Black Friday can be as much of a scam as it is a sale. Deals are often cheaper at other points of the year, and many non-brand products simply aren’t worth it.

  • The HTC 10 (unlocked) is getting a straight $200 discount when you buy directly from the HTC website. 
  • Target is offering a good Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge bundle that includes a $250 Gift Card, Samsung Gear VR Headset and a $50 Oculus Content Pack
  • The Moto Z, Moto Z Droid and Moto Z Force get a $250 discount when you buy it with the Hasselblad True Zoom mod when you buy directly from the Motorola website. Tip: add the phone and mod to your basket, close your browser and come back a bit later – Motorola will offer a 5% discount if you “complete purchase now”.
  • Target is offering the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus for $0 Down and a $250 Target Gift Card AT&T, Verizon and Sprint.
  • Sony’s recently released Xperia XZ gets a $107 discount from Amazon, which is on top of an earlier Amazon discount back in October.

    • The Google Pixel unsurprisingly doesn’t feature on the top 5 list given its popularity and the fact it was released last month. But you can still pick up a $25 gift card when you buy a Pixel from Newegg.
    • The infamous HTC iPhone copycat,One A9, gets a $275 discount if you buy directly from the HTC website.
