Apple may soon release a 'pure white' version of the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus

Apple'siPhone 7 sold out within minutes of pre-orders opening earlier this year, with the new jet black colour being the first to go.
But it seems the company might be considering another colour option for Apple fans.
An Apple information website based in Japan said the company might have plans to bring out a 'pure white' or 'jet white'  version of the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.

The stakes for the iPhone 7 were high after sales of the gadget dropped during two straight quarters this year, the first declines in its history.

The new phones feature improved cameras and eliminate the traditional headphone jack in favour of new technology.
Instead, users can plug into a Lighting port or can opt to use wireless 'AirPod' headphones that cost £159 in the UK and $159 in the US.
Reaction to the change was mixed, with many people taking to Twitter to mock the price of the AirPods and how easy they could be to lost.
But others have praised the move - which Apple says took 'courage' - highlighting the importance of innovation to the iPhone's enduring popularity.

WILL THE JET BALCK IPHONE SCRATCH?

The glossy 'jet black' finish on the new iPhone 7 and 7 Plus may be more prone to scratching than other colours, says Apple.
The frank admission was spotted under the FAQ section on Apple's iPhone 7 web page.
The disclaimer reads: 'The high-gloss finish of the jet black iPhone 7 is achieved through a precision nine-step anodisation and polishing process.
'Its surface is equally as hard as other anodised Apple products; however, its high shine may show fine micro-abrasions with use.
'If you are concerned about this, we suggest you use one of the many cases available to protect your iPhone'.
