Microsoft has announced a new range of Surface devices including the Surface Pro 6, Surface Laptop 2, Surface Studio 2 and Surface Headphones.

Microsoft has announced a new range of Surface devices including the Surface Pro 6, Surface Laptop 2, Surface Studio 2 and Surface Headphones. "Surface is the purest expression of our entire Microsoft experience and is designed to work across your whole life, keeping you in the flow so you can be productive," the company said in a blog post. 
The Surface Pro 6 with 2 in 1 form-factor is now reportedly 67 per cent faster thanks to the Intel 8th gen quad-core processors. The 2-in-1 is available in Black colour and offers portable mobility options. The Surface Pro 6 is said to have an all-day battery with up to 13.5 hours. With the full friction hinge, the product can be adjusted between laptop mode, studio mode and tablet mode. The Surface 6 Pro has a 12.3-inch PixelSense display with multi-screen docking. There is an 8-megapixel autofocus camera and customers can pre-order the device starting October 2. Surface 6 Pro is priced at $899 (approximately Rs.65,700).
 
The Surface Laptop 2 comes with a slim, light form-factor and supports fast-charging. The laptop comes with Alcantara material-covered keyboard and is available in Platinum, Burgundy and Cobalt Blue tone-on-tone colour combinations. The Laptop 2 is backed by Intel 8th generation quad-core processor and has a reported battery life of up to 14.5 hours with faster and quieter typing. The Surface Laptop 2 has a 13.5-inch PixelSense display with touchscreen support. The display is edge-to-edge and comes with thin bezels and the laptop includes OmniSonic speakers. Surface Laptop 2 pre-order begins on October 2 and has a starting price of $999 (approximately Rs. 73,000).
Surface Studio 2, designed for creativity, reportedly offers 50 per cent more graphics performance. "Surface Studio 2 is the fastest Surface ever made offering professional-grade power and performance," the company said in a blog post. The display measures 28-inches and is a PixelSense display. The product offers USB-C support and has an Xbox Wireless built-in gaming performance. The Surface Studio 2 comes with the latest Surface Pen with tilt sensibility and 4096 levels of pressure. Surface Studio 2 will be available to pre-order starting October 2 and has a starting price of $3,499 (Rs. 2,55,339).
Surface Headphones offers 'rich' audio and hands-free calling and makes it easier to block ambient sound with adjustable noise cancellation. "With automatic pause and play, they will even pause the movie or video you are watching when you remove them from your ears," Microsoft said. The headphones come with Cortana, a hands-free digital assistant and can be used to read emails, start conference calls. Surface Headphones will be available later this year with a starting price of $349 (approximately Rs. 25,468).
